Plateau Jr Player Auditions- The Carol

Looking to spread some holiday cheer this Christmas? Plateau Jr Players is holding auditions for a Christmas comedy play, "The Carol!"

"The entire family will enjoy this Christmas comedy! A community theatre is trying to keep its head above water and when famous stage actor Sir Anthony Stewart is unable to play Scrooge in their annual production of A Christmas Carol, their technical director and house understudy has to step in. A farce that includes the guy who takes theatre a little too seriously, the girl who is always late, the guy who doesn’t prepare, the spoiled grandson of Sir Anthony, lots of teenage drama, and a major error by the new marketing person that throws everything into a tailspin. Ending with lots of Christmas joy, this show will be fun for everyone!"

Auditions will be held at the Oneida Student Center on August 15th and 16th from 5:30 to 8:00 PM. The auditions will be open call and you will be asked to read for a few different characters so we can best place you for the show. We are looking for 7 boys and 7 girls around the ages of 11-19 and 2 boys and 2 girls ages 6-10 (note that the younger roles may be double, triple, or quadruple casted to have different kids be on different performances).

If you cannot make it to the auditions we will be doing some over zoom on the 17th as well as allowing you to set up an appointment for a zoom Audition on other days that week.
